Mercedes-Benz have perfected their type styling: Always a subject of particular attention, the sporty and lavish E-Class estate car is treated to an AMG design that is particularly rich in detail. The hyacinth paint with its metallic effect and the clear coat finishing are complemented by the innovative panoramic roof, which offers additional views of the model makers’ craftsmanship. The 1:87 miniature thus cuts an impressively athletic figure. While the front boasts such filigree details as the dominant apron and wide air intakes, the distinctive curves of the body are particularly pleasing to anyone who feasts their eyes on this 1:87 model. Particular focus was placed on such type-defining elements as the inserted headlamps, which were incorporated into the 1:87 body with great effort and minimum gap widths. Equally striking are the optimum level of detailing, which mimics the original vehicles, and the elaborate chrome hot-foil embossing that WIKING has applied to realise this model.
