WIKING creates new facts with the Krone première in 1:87. The BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC is the flagship machine of this traditional farming machinery maker from Spelle! The latest series of the BiG Pack big square balers showcases the Krone engineers’ ability to retain their innovative edge - even after more than 25 years of building big square balers. Many years of development work produced an entirely new generation of BiG Pack machines that combine substantially enhanced comfort with a string of well-known technologies. Miniaturised by WIKING with the highest level of filigree detail, the BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC raises the bar for all other big square balers. Particularly noteworthy: Boasting a chamber size of 120 x 90 cm and an extended baling chamber, the Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC carries bale density to an entirely new dimension. Compared to conventional big square balers, this machine produces big bales with a bale weight that is up to 25% higher – an aspect of great interest to professional straw marketing. The WIKING model also demonstrates at first sight that the engineers attached tremendous importance to the design of the machine. One example is the twine box on each side, which saw a considerable upgrade. Just as in the original, the box is housed under the side cover, offering room for 15 rolls of twine and extending the range of the machine significantly.
