The beverage logistics industry in Europe today is dominated by large-volume semi-trailer combinations. A prime example is the MAN TGX Euro 6c in the curtain-sided semi-trailer version. Sporting the latest colour scheme chosen for “Frisches Veltins”, the prototype is on its way to soothe thirsty throats and enjoys a dynamic brand design. Today, these thirst quenchers are rarely owned by the breweries themselves any more. Instead, they operate for beverage logistics companies or specialised forwarders, who use curtain-sided semi-trailers to guarantee the supply to the large commercial hubs, who will then make deliveries to the beverage stores.
