Its name is always the first reply by fans of Swedish automotive classics when asked to name a car with a singular character. Its hump was to become its most distinctive feature. No other Volvo had a design that was as distinguishing as that of the PV 544. No wonder then that its owners - both past and present - enjoy great appreciation as enthusiasts for cars of eminent character.

Body beige grey, chassis, radiator grille and steering wheel in black. Interior light ivory. The headlamps are transparent, the tail lights are red transparent inserts. The wheel rims have a beige grey look, the bumpers are painted aluminium silver. Imprint of headlamp rings, grille frame and Volvo lettering on the front. Side ornamental strips on the fenders and the bonnet. The door handles as well have been painted silver. The tail light surface on the rear has been printed silver and complemented by the lettering”Volvo PV544”.
