Description:
The time had come in November of 1984: Daimler-Benz unveiled its new upper-middle-class limousine. It became the successor to the 123 series, which continued on in the “Mercedes middle class". While Daimler-Benz utilised central elements of the W 201 for their 124 series, the use of these elements did not detract from its distinctive features that made it so successful. WIKING released a miniaturised version of the first Mercedes-Benz E-Class early on, injecting new life into their passenger vehicle range at the time with a cutting-edge model. Four decades later, the 260 E is esteemed as a classic, which managed to keep its unique profile thanks to the then-typical colour scheme of its body and plastic door sills, which was paired with the perfectly matching interior.

Body blue-metallic, interior silver, chassis fern blue. Headlamps transparent, tail lights and indicators hand-painted. Mercedes-Benz star as well as model designation “260 E” imprinted silver. Wheel rims silver, radiator grille with vent surfaces and bumpers imprinted black.
