The Malibu was originally conceived as a workhorse – “with tow hook”, in keeping with the preferences of WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer. Now, the traditional model makers have treated the Chevrolet Malibu to a piece of normalcy: The coupé with the long hatchback appears this time thanks to a careful overhaul minus the tow hook, revealing the full glory of its US-American aura. WIKING has revitalised the historical moulds and given the Malibu the careful treatment that this US classic deserves. The distinctly filigree imprints highlight the slender line of the vehicle’s body. Back in the day, the original came with either six-cylinder in-line engines or V8 engines.
