The T2b in the camping version exemplifies why WIKING models are fun! One reason is that the traditional model maker now continues the decades-long history of the VW “Bulli” with an epoch-shaping model that is based on an authentic real-life sibling. The Westfalia camper van served as inspiration for this première model – richness in detail thanks to an exquisite interior included. With its angular rear section, the wide bumpers, the rectangular rear lights, the indicators in the radiator grille, and a flatter roof as well as a number of additional modifications, the T2b further advances the chronology of the VW passenger van. Naturally, the model also comes with the caringly colour-matched curtains that adorn the rear windows. This detail is yet another testimony to WIKING’s aspiration to always stay true to the original - especially to the VW “Bulli” and right from the start of production.
