New commission for the Nuremberg Schenker specialists serving freight forwarder Jet Cargo: The MAN cab-over-engine generation is now rolling into the three-axle selection: Flaunting the Schenker colours, the truck of the F7/F8 series with its single cab comes across as a modern classic that sports a typical contemporary look. In a bid to ensure that the series, launched in 1967, reflected the look of the time, the traditional model makers furnished it with the radiator grille used back then. While the new modern classic lorry bears the letters “MAN Diesel” on its front, only the Büssing lion serves as the last decipherable reminder of the merger of the two brands. At the time, the Schenker branches had equipped themselves for the individual needs of their customers - the air freight services were increasingly in demand in the early seventies.
