The air-cooled Deutz diesel roared under the body of the Magirus Transeuropa cab. As a matter of fact, the truck reliably served heavy loads specialist Toense for years and performed highly appreciated towing jobs. One stand-out feature during the initial release of the series was the tiered long distance cab, which offered the driver a level of comfort that significantly exceeded the standards of the time and even bested the previous Magirus generation. WIKING has miniaturised the then innovative long-distance version of the Magirus 235 D based on historical documents from 1963. First presented at the IAA auto show in 1963, the Magirus cab-over generation was quickly adopted into a great number of forwarder fleets thanks to their dependable air-cooled Deutz engines.
