The people at Paul Rosenkranz in Witten had perfected the ability to match any cargo with the perfect tractor-trailer combination as early as the fifties. The Büssing 8000 with heavy load flatbed was the go-to workhorse of the time and commonly hitched up to the three-axle cement silo trailer. WIKING fans have long been familiar with the abundant variety the heavy-duty transport expert Rosenkranz in Witten had to offer. Already representing the 16th exciting addition to this world of themed models, the cement silo trailer train is now rolling up with its Büssing tractor unit. Never before has this tractor-trailer combination been included in WIKING's new items delivery to retailers. The bygone world of Rosenkranz epitomised the tremendous appeal held by 1:87 scale models. The unapologetic paintwork in fire brigade red the Witten expert for special transport had chosen made their fleet of vehicles highly visible in the Ruhr region and makes the vehicles an endearing choice for a theme cycle at WIKING.
