Liebherr is celebrating 75 years – and WIKING is joining the party! When the Liebherr L 531 wheel loader rolled into WIKING’s portfolio, it replaced a laudable predecessor. After the Hanomag B 11 had served long years of service on various miniature construction sites, the time to find a replacement had come at the end of the 1980s. WIKING utilised the real-life Liebherr model of the L 531, which shaped the action on many construction sites of the pre- and post-war years and could be counted on to perform without fail. There is no doubt that the wheel loader from Liebherr is a must for every 1:87-scale construction site. To celebrate the occasion of Liebherr's anniversary, WIKING adorned the 1:87-scale wheel loader with the colours with which it shipped from the factory.

Upper part of driver's cab, chassis and lower part of driver's cab with axle mounting, rear section and mirror bar rapeseed yellow. Bucket, hydraulic arm, wheel bearing and bonnet likewise rapeseed yellow. Interior black-grey. White stripe with black Liebherr lettering and 531 model designation on the sides and the rear, also red-white diagonal warning stripes.
