It is reminiscent of the chancellorship of Konrad Adenauer, as the series 300 owes its pet name to the first Chancellor of post-war Germany. Today, this classic is considered a collector’s item. And, the re-imports from the sunny state of California back to Europe clearly illustrate: In the United States, Germany's state carriage of the late fifties was also held in equally high regard in the stately colours that were rather rarely found on the domestic roads of the land of the Economic Miracle.
