The previous introduction of the cable drums modelled after the originals used by the Rheydt cable works is now followed up with the release of the Magirus S 7500 with flatbed. This addition thus makes the cable transport duo complete. The boom of the telephone network in the Federal Republic of Germany set in early and with it the order boom at the Kabelwerk Rheydt. Omnipresent were the colossal transports carrying drums with the cables that later disappeared as lines in dug-up trenches stretching many kilometres.

Driver's cab raspberry red, brilliant blue radiator grille with silver ornamental trim and Magirus logo. Interior with seat and steering wheel as wine red inserts. Chassis with Cardan part and tank as well as front and rear fenders brilliant blue. Driver's cab imprint with “KWR” lettering. Flatbed raspberry red just as the injection-moulded element with windscreen wipers, mirrors, and marker poles. Wheel rims brilliant blue. Side indicators on the driver's cab imprinted black, door handles painted silver. Bumper with black lettering side lettering “Magirus-Deutz” likewise in black. Tail lights printed carmine red.
