Description:
Round fenders, a zippy engine and a compact body design through and through - this is what the Porsche recipe for success looked like in 1955. The Porsche 356 in the convertible version marks the entry of the Zuffenhausen auto makers into the Economic Miracle years of Germany. Like all other convertibles of those production years, the 356 embodied unmitigated outdoor fun - the leisurely Sunday ride was saved. The first Porsche models bore witness to the freedom the still fledgling Federal Republic of Germany had managed to garner. WIKING did not want to do without the Porsche 356 and added it to their line-up in 1961. The model made of revitalised moulds has been treated to filigree imprints. They turn this miniature Porsche into a reflection of the real-life milestone of automotive post-war history. Body painted in sahara beige. Aluminium silver chassis with floor panel, interior carmine red with copper brown steering wheel. Wheel rims aluminium silver. Body sides with silver-painted door handles and lower ornamental strips. Engine hood with silver-painted ornamental strip and rear ventilation grille. Indicated folding top imprinted black. Front indicators deep orange. Headlamps painted silver, tail lights carmine. Front and rear Porsche lettering in pearl gold. Window surrounds and windscreen wipers painted silver. UPC: 4006190160056
